Broken Arrow Armed Forces Reserve Center

Advantage Glass, Inc. had several hurdles to overcome on the Broken Arrow Armed Forces Reserve Center project including, but not limited to, tight scheduling and engineering for blast proof windows in several different types of substrates we had to anchor in. We fabricated in the field the front entry which consisted of a radius arched top curtain wall. The entry was erected to be blast and wind resistant with 22’ steel loaded vertical mullions which housed blast proof entry doors and high impact glazing to ensure the utmost security. Other security measures included installation of blast proof glazing and the use of twelve 4” x 3/8” anchors on each of the one hundred and ninety sum punched openings including a two man guard shack and look out towers. We are very proud of our people and their efforts in finishing this project on time and within budget.
